VINOTHEK 1620 is a cosy wine bar and shop located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, opposite Tavola 1620. We are housed in the historic Nossenhaus, one of Andermatt’s oldest buildings, dating back to 1620.

We focus on quality over mainstream, importing wines from Italy and France while sourcing directly from independent Swiss wine producers. Our wines are carefully selected to pair beautifully with the food from our bakery and kitchen.

Hospitality is at the heart of what we do. We believe in good wine, good food and good times, and we aim to create a welcoming community of bon-vivants who share our values of simplicity and authenticity.

Fermentation inspires our concept — from wine and sourdough bread to pizza al taglio and artisan beer. Music sets the mood, starting with jazz and blues and evolving into rock’n’roll and groovy sounds.
